The ‘Multipolar’ series is a collection of paintings that revolves around a perpetually returning motif, capturing the essence of yin and yang. This motif embodies the fusion of both positive and negative energies, existing in a spectrum of opposing yet balanced or imbalanced proportions. Each painting, while uniform in format and based on the same motif, diverges in form, colour, and technique, each variation reflecting the artist’s mindset at the moment of creation. The interlocking surfaces and contours within the paintings seek a harmonious
intersection, culminating in a complete, unified composition.
Each canvas within the series is sequentially numbered, documenting a progression in the exploration, and shifting of the motif. This numerical ordering mirrors the ongoing pursuit of mental equilibrium and the constant striving for a balanced state within a functioning system—a theme that parallels the recurrent nature of reality itself.
